Our Story

The Haven provides support for young people, with the aim of reducing the life-limiting effects of problematic anxiety.

We use proven techniques such as CBT, mindfulness and 4-7-8 breathing, and create easy to access sessions which allow space for practising strategies and peer encouragement. 

 

But mostly, we believe that young people feel empowered to strengthen their mental resilience when they are with other people who understand what they are going through and encouraged to take practical steps to manage their own anxiety levels.
